Into Clinical Trial Supply
Every clinical trial depends on more than the new drug being tested. Sponsors also need the medicines it is measured against, and the supporting medicines used alongside it, delivered on time and with a clean paper trail.
HRV Pharma Enters Clinical Trial Supply
That is the business HRV Pharma has just bought into. The Hindu BusinessLine reports that HRV has acquired Phatebo, a clinical trial supplier based in Hilzingen, Germany. Phatebo sources comparator, investigational and ancillary medicines, including innovative branded therapies, for drug makers and CROs worldwide.
Acquisition of Phatebo
HRV is taking 100% of the company from ZeroStack Corp. Phatebo posted around ₹350 crore in revenue in 2025 and holds a German pharmaceutical wholesale authorisation.
Expanding Beyond APIs
The move takes HRV past APIs and into finished medicines for the first time, in a segment where reliability and traceability matter as much as price.
