Licensed in Germany, Ready for Europe
Entering Europe's pharmaceutical market usually starts with paperwork: licences, quality systems and approvals that take years to put in place. HRV Pharma's acquisition of Phatebo GmbH skips much of that wait.
HRV Pharma's Acquisition of Phatebo
Rediff Money reports that HRV has acquired the German clinical trial supplier. Phatebo holds a German pharmaceutical wholesale authorisation and operates under good distribution practice, the standards that govern how medicines are stored and moved in Europe.
Established Pharmaceutical Operations in Germany
The company, based in Hilzingen, reported revenue of about ₹350 crore in 2025 and works with global pharmaceutical companies and CROs.
Expanding Into Finished Formulations
For HRV, this is more than a new revenue line. It is a licensed operating business in Germany and its first step into finished formulations, built on the same regulatory first approach that shaped its API business.
