About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive - Sourcing to manage end-to-end procurement of pharmaceutical APIs and Intermediates from Indian manufacturers for international markets, with a focus on the emerging markets.

Sourcing & Procurement
- Manage comprehensive sourcing of pharmaceutical APIs and Intermediates from certified Indian manufacturers
- Identify and onboard new vendors to expand supplier base and optimize procurement costs
- Maintain detailed database of supplier capabilities, product availability, and lead times
Regulatory & Quality Management
- Engage with manufacturers holding GMP, WHO-GMP, DMF, and CEP certifications
- Ensure all sourcing activities meet international pharmaceutical regulatory standards
- Verify and maintain supplier certification documentation
Negotiation & Cost Optimization
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines to achieve optimal value
- Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct cost-benefit analysis
- Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with Business Development team on sample requests for customer approvals
- Build long-term strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Support business development initiatives across target markets
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Supply Chain Management
- 3-5 years in pharmaceutical sourcing/procurement, preferably with API experience
- Knowledge of international pharmaceutical markets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities
- Analytical mindset with focus on cost optimization
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in procurement systems and MS Office
